Amb. Bill Rogers, and Education Experts visits Liberia for Partnerships and Policy Strengthening Dialogue with Dr. Jallah

Amb. Bill Rogers and a team of Education Policy Specialists including Mr. Steve Zipkes, Mrs. Laura Celly, Mr. Besspher Mannah visited Liberia on June 19, 2024. During their stay in Liberia, they had series of different meetings surrounding Education policy strengthening, sports development, collaboration and partnerships for a more resilient educational system in Liberia. The Minister of Education, Dr. Jarso Jallah expressed her profound gratitude to Amb. Rogers for continuing to empower young Liberians through educational programs, athleticism, and humanitarian works. While in Liberia, Amb. Rogers, Dr. Jarso Jallah and the team of Education Experts from the USA met with Directors, Principals, and other Education practitioners of High Schools, Technical and Vocational Education Training centers, Universities, and Radio stations, raising awareness regarding education, policies and its benefits to Liberians and how it can help build a resilient education system.

Amb. Rogers motivated students of diverse backgrounds with his story and encouraged them to be the best versions of themselves, regardless of the hurdles and stumbling blocks the faced. He further lauded that giving up is not an option and that Liberia is not going to be transformed by non-Liberians. Moreover, Mr. Rogers, and the team of Education Experts delivered a framework document to Dr. Jallah and H.E Joseph Nyumah Boakai Snr., President of the Republic of Liberia that will strengthen the Educational system of Liberia. Mr. Rogers expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Jallah and to H.E. Joseph Nyumah Boakai Snr., for embracing partnerships and building a more resilient educational system for Liberia and Liberians.

Dr. Jallah presented Amb. Rogers and the team of Experts with gifts of beautiful Liberian made clothing in remembrance of their hard work and dedication towards the Liberian educational system and youth development.
